Home town pix
I thought it would be a really cool idea (lol) if we all posted pix of where we live cuz there are some awesome places out there, here's my first ones,
the top of my road lookin down,
goin back down lookin up, nearly sunset,
and outta my bedroom window,
i gonna get some good ones together, also it might be helpful as the environmental images can give an idea as to available wildlife

Re: Home town pix
wow check out that skyline awesome
not much marine life at all, a few shore crabs n spider crabs but then you only get to see the discarded ones from the fishing, also little red anenomies but we have a lot of japanese kelp too, they say the mermaid brought it over with her lol.
I have no more room in my house lol full of large terrarium with snakes n spiders in,
so those breaks were off the break water, jus round the corner is a massive beach north facing n we usually get 6-8ft in the winter
info on the town, http://www.stives-cornwall.co.uk/

Re: Home town pix
This is a good idea Vawn and if we could keep the replies down it would work very well.
Your pics are nothing short of wonderful and if each and every one got on board with this thread it could be very special and a thread that many would find very interesting.
This is part of something I have been pushing for on face book and all new registrations to the forum for ages and virtually no one has bothered to do it, so thank you from all that will look at this thread and it will have a sticky on it so can all ad to this and try to keep the replies to a minimum to ensure the smooth flowing of the thread.
Sites like photo bucket are free and any pics can be placed there or where ever and the image code copied into the thread so all can see your lovely pics.
From the first suggestion of a xmas pics comp from way back, Good work as always Vawn.

Relands shire photos at Brisbanes bayside.
The redlands is our home and is a very lovely and expanding spot and its name is from the red soil here that made so many farms do so well until developement came along, now there are very few left.
This is whats called a Queenslander home, its at victoria point in the redlands shire.
This one is an older style home at Wynum/Manly in the redlands of course.
A couple of pics of Stradbroke island in the Redlands.
This area is called wellington point.Sundays here you can not move it is so popular.
The roads in the redlands are quite roomy and always lots fo trees.
Lots of large parks around here.
This is millionaires row, they have one of the only spots where the sun sets over the ocean here.
The nania movie set at cleveland point last year.
This spot is where we go for our afternoon fish and chips from time to time at cleveland point to watch the sunset.
Some days here there are heaps of tripods and all kinds of gear to capture the sunset by a lot of different people.
Those are our two dogs and the sun sets right over our house on the other side of the bay area.
These pics are all at or very near our place.
We live right near a bushland heritage area and there is a creek out front that has ducks of all types and large and small fish, platypus, turtles and heaps of snakes and lizards.

Re: Home town pix
oooh that one shaz, dead mans drop it is dry down there just jagged rocks, there have been alot of campaigns to stop what we call tombstoning ie the kids jump off n die but if you go out in a bout to dive you can see alot of shipwrecks (as in these waters are trecherous!)
