Trigona carbonaria,this ausy bush bee is a stingless bee found in NSW and Q
Just thought I would put in an interesting photo or two,well to me,it is.
Not far from home where I take the dogs for a walk is this bee hive of the native Australian bees that i remember from my distant country past,these nests were a popular thing to raid back then,because they are stingless.
I looked them up on the net and they are now protected and so they should be, the honey is very appealing and they are of no threat,no sting,great taste.
The nest has been there for years and hopefully will be there in years to come.
