RNA show fish competition in Brisbane.
If any one is heading into the ekka (RNA) show this year make sure you have a look at the fish comp stand as one of the clubbies (Shane) has put in a couple of tanks in the competition.
One in (communty).
One in (any other fish).
Hope he does well, though over the last ten years or so it has gotten very hard as you are up against actual marine auqarium shops with much more aquarium life to choose from than us,even with our collecting trips.
It,s good there are tanks in the comp, but the shops must really put off the private aquarists from competing!!
Good luck anyway Shane

Re: RNA show fish competition in Brisbane.
I went to the show yesterday. Most winning tanks on the marine competition were set up by Pet city. But been pet city I would have expected something better........
Anyways, all nice tank in both marine and fresh water, I saw am albino long bristletooth fish ( I do not know the name to be quite honest but it is the one that suck up all the detritus on fresh water ) that I thought was really nice
I did not notice any tanks by shane, probably I did not read properly......Any ways, well done to shane for getting out there and compete
Cheers
