Recently mark has added a few rabbit fish to the aquarium and unlike many other these have turned out to be quite easy to keep with the auto feeder providing dried foods constantly and a large dose of frozen micses and brine shrimp daily.

The aquarium has many forms of natural foods growing in the aquarium including sponges, algae’s and many varied inverts to give that little extra something in there diet.

Personally the fact that they are of the same family as the happy moment, more or less, I try not to hold that fact against them.

If any one has had anything to do with the happy moment knows that this name is a sarcastic one as they have dorsel spines that once sting you, the feeling of wanting to amputate that part as quick as possible can be a strong thought.

These are marks (happy moments) Lo magnifica , signaus chrysospilos and Lo vulpinus.

I've had two rabbitfish to date, a Happy Moment (harpoon them all!) and a yellow and blue lined one, which was very nice actually.. and they are infact quite nice fish personality wise.

I'd never take home another happy moment, but any of the other more nice rabbitfish i'd definately give em a go if i didn't have four big tangs already.
