This creek is just at the northern end of Wivenhoe and it is fed by a spring that runs for two weeks from inside the hills stony make up after the rains of some volume and is at best 30 feet vis down to 15 feet on a bad day.
It is at its deepest 18 feet and is full if all kinds of fish life, including tasty cat fish.

Thanks mate, I use to go camping a lot and we would take our jet skies out to Somerset dam well before Wivenhoe was made, that's how I leanrt to use a single water ski, mine is the red 550. What I would do is drive back along the road or as we headed to the dam and pick up and cut up fire wood for the campfire and I found this water way in 85.The last pic in this thread is at the dam back then.
